a research on al jedariyah ode by mahmoud darvish stylistic from russian formalism point of view

stylistic is a branch of modern linguistic which surveys and analyzes the literary styles and technical methods. formalism school is one of important modern approaches in stylistics. russian formalisms believe that only the style (frame) can determine the meaning and the concept of the context. mahmoud darvish – palestinian poet – is one of the poets who worked in modernism style. he could present his thoughts and concepts in an attractive and gorgeous structure. this article studies al jedariyah ode which presents frame and content simultaneously. the present paper attempts to depict the vocal and verbal criteria of the mentioned ode in descriptive – analytical method from russian formalisms point of view. the most important outcome of the survey is that the stated ode presents itself in the most beautiful frame and format. darvish was trying to develop the formalism style and that's why various rhythms and rhymes could be found in his ode.
